Fellow Wobs in Reading have prepared quite a Christmas Benefit and Social Night for Saturday, December 12, 2009. It is unlikely anyone will make it down the 340 miles from Dumfries on the same night as events nearer by in Glasgow. But it’s an excellent line up and deserves bigging up as much as possible. So if you are tempting tell em the Dumfries branch set ya.
Smokey Bastard (punk and cider drenched celtic folk)
Apologies I Have None (melodic punk to drink n dance to)
Clayton Blizzard (amazing political/satirical acoustic hip-hop from the Bristol folk meastro)
Jonny One Lung (‘Filaments’ punk plays rough Essex folk)
Sam Russo (hearty acoustic punk rock)
Kelly Kemp (soulful country melodies from ex-nocomply lady)
Cosmo (fusion of punk, beatboxing and bluegrass)
Plus D&B at the The Purple Turtle afterwards for those so inclined!
It all takes place at from 6pm, Saturday 12th December 2009 @ The Kings Tavern, Kings Road, Reading (opposite TVU)
Its only £3 for Wobs. More info from Reading GMB: email@example.com
