The Clydeside Branch has organised a series of films about the IWW and its long radical history. These are being shown at the Electron Club, CCA, 350 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow.
The first is tonight (sorry only got the information this morning), but there are two others:
* Starbucks Workers Union Films Tuesday 9th February, 7pm at the Electron Club (address above). Two short films about providing union rights and representation for baristas (coffee shop workers). It will be followed by a discusson on practical solidarity.
* The Forest For the Trees ‘The amazing story of the fight to clear IWW activist Judi Bari’s name after her car was bombed and she was arrested as a terrorist. Date, and venue to be confirmed by likely to be around 8th March, 2010.
