Self-Education Class Struggle Style
The IWW is a syndicalist organisation. Syndicalism is about building workplace organisations – and other social structures – to resist the bosses’ attempts to undermine us. And in through these organisations, democratically build an alternative, fairer, just and more exciting society. So it’s relevant to note that on Saturday 20th November in Edinburgh there is a Class Struggle Day-school. Two of the four events looks at the history and practice of syndicalism in the Europe.
The event isopen to ‘workers, students and the unemployed from different backgrounds and class struggle political tendencies’. ‘It is a meeting place open to all who wish to discuss and debate political questions from radical perspectives in a friendly atmosphere.’
The venue is Cabaret Bar, 60 The Pleasance. It starts at 11.30am.
